The next station is: Shibuya

While technically a commercial and business district, Shibuya is more well-known as a trendy hub for fashion, youth and pop culture. It comes alive at night with bright lights, music and crowds and crowds of people.



The most famous check-in spot is the intersection, where you can witness hundreds of people walking, a testament to the hustle and bustle this place. Endless entertainment awaits as shops, cafes, restaurants, clubs line the street, brimming with style and vibrance. 


It is mostly a place for teens, or people in their 20s to hang out in, but you can also see influencers or tourists coming here for the experience. As for the local residents, they are most likely business people working in tech, fashion or entertainment.


In general, the district of Shibuya is chaotic in the best way. It can be overwhelming for some, but if you’re into fashion, music, tech or just people-watching, it is a must-see.

There are only 2 inevitable things in life: Death and Deadlines.

Everyone has their own reaction to the stress of an upcoming deadline. The most common response, for me and for many people, is procrastination. We all have our experiences of ignoring the task we were assigned up to the very last moment, where all hell breaks loose.  I've heard people call their relationship with deadlines the "Panic Monster". They would have weekly meetings with the creature, using the adrenaline, turning on their fight or flight response to finish whatever they had to do. I, personally, wouldn't dare be so romantic about it.  Deadlines are an active detriment to my daily life. For some reason, I just can't relax at all when there is some kind of task on my mind. I either have to enter full denial mode and forget about my duties or force myself to be stressed until my body finally decides to be productive. Of course, these solutions aren't elegant nor healthy. The former is just plain ignorant and lazy and the later makes me feel like a soul...

Murder of a pregnant woman in Nagoya.

What would you do if you went home one day from work and your pregnant wife was lying on the floor with a dial phone receiver and a key chain inside of her belly, while the child that was not supposed to be born yet was lying next to her lifeless body? As scary as that sounds, this situation actually happened to a couple in Nagoya on the 18th of March, 1988. And it is still one of the top unsolved mysteries in Japan.  Let me set the scene for you. The pregnant woman showed signs of being choked out by an electrical wire. Her child was surgically taken out of her womb, left lying right next to her, replaced by a Mickey Mouse keychain and a dial phone receiver. When the husband came home to this scene, he panicked, called an ambulance and later called the police as well. The wife had unfortunately passed away by then.
